Welcome to Sandoval County Fire Department.
The dedicated volunteers and career members of the Sandoval County Fire Department serve our citizens & guests in the urban, rural and tribal communities. We preserve life, property and the environment through quality service & education, and with compassion & safety.
Open Burning is allowed in the unincorporated areas of Sandoval County with a permit at this time.
Sandoval County Fire Department responded to 5,340 calls for service for the year 2009.

Structure Fire in Seven Springs by the Fish Hatchery, September 9, 2008. La Cueva along with several other Fire Districts were able to keep the well involved structure fire from spreading into nearby trees which could have caused a catastrophic forest fire.
